Modern digital systems and technologies are used both for taking and recording medical signals, data and images, and for their processing and analysis, reducing noise and interference, evaluating diagnostically significant indicators and signs, assessing and monitoring the current psychophysiological state of the body, diagnosing and predicting the patient's condition, supporting the doctor's decision-making on various stages of providing medical care to the patient.
Today, research teams including medical specialists and specialists in the field of information and telecommunication technologies, medical informatics and biomedical engineering in many countries are actively involved in the development of innovative digital technologies for healthcare systems. Such work contributes to the rapprochement of teams and mutual understanding of people from different countries for the benefit of improving the quality of life and health of the world's population.
